We could not be more thrilled with the results from last night. Congratulations to President-Elect Donald Trump for beating the Clinton/Media machine. Republicans will hold the White House, the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House for the first time since 1928. We now have more Republican governors than we've had in decades. And close to home, voters came out in force to ensure that Tarrant County remained the largest red county in the state. We would like to congratulate all of our candidates on their hard-fought battles. We are confident that Tarrant County will be well-represented at every level of government for years to come.
We would like to thank all of our hard-working volunteers who made phone calls and knocked on doors to push people to the polls, and then served as election judges, clerks, and poll watchers to ensure the election was fair for all voters. I'd also like to thank former County Chairs Jen Hall and Stephanie Klick for their help, former Vice-Chair Brandon Moore for his help, Ann-Marie and Matt Birdwell for their tireless efforts and Will Yeager, the hardest working Executive Director in Texas.
Finally, we would like to thank the voters of Tarrant County. This election, you voted for truth, justice, and liberty. Because of you, Tarrant County will remain a leader in conservative ideas.
I want to encourage my fellow Republicans to show grace and humility in victory. And let's not forget, the fight for our principles does not end just because the election has come to a close. We look forward to continuing to fight alongside you to ensure that our county, state, and nation reflect the values that have made America a shining city on a hill.
May God Bless Our Land,
Chairman, Tarrant County Republican Party
